Migrate from Mumbai to Amoy

We're expanding support for Polygon PoS Amoy to better serve developers building with Circle’s stablecoin protocols and platform services. We encourage all developers to migrate to Polygon PoS Amoy at your earliest convenience.

Please note that Polygon PoS Mumbai testnet is expected to no longer be actively maintained by the community moving forward.

Upcoming availability:

• March 27, 2024: Programmable Wallets support for Polygon PoS Amoy

• March 27, 2024: Smart Contract Platform support for Polygon PoS Amoy (API access)

• End of April 2024: Smart Contract Platform support for Polygon PoS Amoy (Console access)

Programmable Wallets

Effective on April 11, 2024, Programmable Wallets will discontinue support for Polygon PoS Mumbai testnet. As a result, APIs and dashboards, including transaction and wallet data, will no longer reflect information from the Mumbai testnet. Please update your project to utilize Polygon PoS Amoy testnet to ensure uninterrupted functionality.

Impacted APIs Requiring Updates

For the following POST APIs, you must change the value of the blockchain and blockchains enum parameter from MATIC-MUMBAI to MATIC-AMOY.

• POST /user/initialize: Create a challenge for PIN setup and create wallet(s)

• POST /user/wallets: Create user wallets  

• POST /developer/wallets: Create developer wallets

• POST /transactions/validateAddress: Validate an address

For the following GET APIs, you must change the value of the blockchain enum parameter from POLY-MUMBAI to POLY-AMOY.

• GET /wallets: List wallets 

• GET /contracts: List contracts

• GET /transactions: List transactions 

• GET /config/entity/monitoredTokens: Retreive existing monitored tokens

Smart Contract Platform

Effective on April 11, 2024, Smart Contract Platform will discontinue support for Polygon PoS Mumbai testnet.
