What is a test network?
USDC is a dollar-backed stablecoin that runs on multiple blockchains, including the Ethereum blockchain, the Arbitrum blockchain, the Solana blockchain, and more.
Each blockchain has various test networks, or testnet, that enable developers to test their applications before deploying code on the main network or mainnet.
Testnet Tokens have no Financial Value
Because the testnet networks listed below are used only for testing, the USDC testnet tokens in circulation on these networks are programmatically minted, have no financial value, and are not backed by real US dollars.
Similarly, ETH testnet tokens on Ethereum Sepolia testnet have no financial value.
