Testnet tokens serve two primary purposes:
- Cover network gas fees: Use native tokens like ETH to pay gas fees for
testnet transactions.
- Validate smart contract behavior: Experiment with fund flows in your smart
contracts to validate behavior and support for specific digital assets.
Public faucet
The Public Faucet distributes USDC and EURC to any
wallet on a supported test network. No account is required.
- Cost: Free, no account required.
- Supported wallets: Any wallet on a supported test network, specified by
wallet address.
- Tokens per request:
- Request limits: One request every 24 hours per token per testnet.

Developer Console faucet
The Developer Console Faucet distributes
native tokens and stablecoins to wallets created on Circle’s developer platform.
You must log in with your Circle developer account to use it.
- Cost: Free, requires a Circle developer account.
- Supported wallets: Any wallet created on Circle’s developer platform (via
API or UI), specified by wallet ID.
